This is a good place to stay in Medan City

1. All staff are very friendly and always helpful whenever needed 2. Room is big enough, bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean, pillow are comfortable, the main thing is room always clean. 3. Breakfast are amazing with many option and some local taste made me feel like home 4. Price is acceptable

Clean room, great staff, good breakfast but a few frustrations.

All the staff were lovely. Room was a good size. Breakfast was good. Everything was clean. Close to airport rail link.

Room service food was small and arrived cold. I heard neighbours clearly through the separating door between our rooms. They could not refund deposit back to a debit card. Could not find any instructions how to use the phone to order room service so I had to go down to desk and ask (press 6 - the other buttons don't do anything).

clean and spacious room, advance toileteries set, awesome breakfast, good wifi coverage in room, friendly staff.

small swimming pool (distracted by picture in the website which look wider), bad coverage wifi in lobby, no nearby attraction/place to eat (merdeka walk which was used to be just infront of the hotel)

Small pool inside of the room.

The air conditioning in the halls or in the elevator seems to be switched off or the temperature has been decreased. Due to the carpets there in the hallway, the smells are not good. Hotel needs renovation as well, the toilet door in my room is not working properly, it was several time difficult to open.

Not up to a 5star hotel expectation...more like a 4star only...

only thing that made me happy was the restaurant staff trying their very best to make you happy with their smile and attentiveness,despite their limitation,bringing fresh fruit juices as extra service,asking if all is okay,clearing all dirty plates very fast..kudos to the f&b staff..also the room cleaning service were very polite and pro in their service...

everyday queing for bfast..and the bfast serving same cheap local dishes..not up to a 5star hotel expectation..but staff at the restaurant were very nice,trying their very best to make you happy...hotel management should provide more space/tables for bfast guests..its a joke to ask guests to que for bfast everyday....another point, most of the parking attendees and security were always trying to block parking spaces with the stupid cones, in a pretext that parking is full,then when you were asking for one, as if they were expecting for tips..this happened each time i returned to the hotel after going out for few hours..its common to/for tipping in a hotel industry,but it should be given out sincerely out of the generosity of the guests,not like made as if obligatory by blocking parking spaces...especially in a 5star hotel...also for cash deposits during check inn,if you stay 3 nights,why is a 3 night deposit taken?500*3= 1,5 million rupiahs?so if you stay a month then a month deposit is taken?this is wrong...only until I insisted for a 500k deposit with the front desk staff called Fernando,then it was approved but they locked my minibar...this few things made my stay abit of a disappointment...

Enjoyed my stay!

Room is clean and huge. Staffs are friendly and polite. Breakfast was ok too. Overall, satisfied.

My husband and I are the type to drink a lot of water but we can only asked for extra 2 bottles of mineral water. It’s insufficient.

Had a great stay. Nice room, Great Facilities, Good Location, and Very Friendly Staffs.

Overall, things are either good or great. Good Location since it is in the center of Medan, though there are some distance if you want to savor the true taste of Medan food which should be eaten at the small shops/stall rather than restaurant/cafe.

The breakfast; it is not kept warmed enough(for those food that need to be heated) and some crispy food is almost stale by the last hour of breakfast time. I am not complaining though. *This might be my own personal opinion; the taste need to be heavier, especially, the curry soup/kuah is very light(not thick enough)

Big hotel in the center

The room is big with a nice bed and the shower was good with hot water. The Heritage restaurant is in an old Dutch building and the lunch buffet is perfectly fine. But go outside to dine in the evening. The hotel is very well guarded. Your luggage will even be screened at the entrance. A lot of guards are present. It is near the railway station so you can easily take the train to the Airport which takes a half hour. And is very convenient since you do not have to bother with the heavy traffic.

It is a very huge hotel owned by Chinese. It lacked a personal touch. The employees do speak very bad english and are friendly enough but you know they are trained to do that. It felt not really natural. The food in the western restaurant the spoon was really afwful. And very expensive. Do not eat there.

Excellent

Rooms were super clean, AC a bit loud but we could switch off when it was cold enough. Spa excellent I had a refleksi with Risma very good. Breakfast spread was good

Breakfast waiters were busy with themself. We came at 9.30 and the setting ups were not intact. Used tables not cleaned properly. Waiters were not attentive. Taste of breakfast was good but looking at the staff we lost our appetite.

Great service

Very spacious room. Only a few minutes away from the train station that connects to the airport. Helpful staff that send an item, which I had forgotten to take with me after checking out, to my next destination.

The restaurant seemed to need some small repairs.
